Day-by-Day Plan
Days 1–4: Bangkok, Thailand
Day 1: Arrival + Grand Palace
- Land at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Take the Airport Rail Link to city center (~45 min, THB 45).
- Check in to hotel in Sukhumvit or Silom area.
- Afternoon: Grand Palace + Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). Book tickets at the palace gate (THB 500). Dress code strictly enforced — no shorts; sarongs available to borrow/rent.
- Evening: Asiatique The Riverfront — riverside night market with ferris wheel, dining, and shopping.
Day 2: Temples + Floating Market
- Early morning: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (2 hours from Bangkok — join a tour OR hire a driver, THB 500–800). Boats piled with tropical fruit and cooked food in narrow canals.
- Afternoon: Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha — 46m long, 15m tall, covered in gold leaf) and Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn — across the Chao Phraya River, stunning at sunset).
- Evening: Khao San Road — the legendary backpacker street. Pad Thai, mango sticky rice, street performers, night market.
Day 3: Chatuchak + Rooftop
- Morning: Chatuchak Weekend Market (only Saturday–Sunday, 8,000 stalls — clothing, antiques, plants, food). If visiting mid-week, go to Jodd Fairs or Asiatique instead.
- Afternoon: Jim Thompson House — the American who built a silk empire, in a complex of traditional Thai houses.
- Evening: Lebua Sky Bar (rooftop bar where "The Hangover Part II" was filmed). Dress code smart-casual. Cocktails are expensive (THB 800–1,500) but the views are unforgettable.
Day 4: Bangkok → Phuket by flight (1.5 hrs)
- Morning: Siam area — MBK Center, Siam Paragon, street food
- Afternoon flight to Phuket (book in advance on AirAsia or Thai Lion Air, ~THB 1,000–3,000)
Days 4–7: Phuket, Thailand
Day 5: Patong Beach + James Bond Island Tour
- Morning: Join the Phang Nga Bay James Bond Island tour by longtail boat or speedboat. Includes Sea Cave kayaking through caves, the distinctive tall limestone islands from "The Man with the Golden Gun," and a floating Muslim fishing village on Koh Panyee.
- Evening: Bangla Road, Patong — Phuket's famous nightlife strip (even if you're not into nightlife, one walk through is an experience).
Day 6: Phi Phi Islands Day Tour
- Full-day speedboat tour to Phi Phi from Phuket (~THB 1,000–1,400)

Day 7: Phuket Temple Tour + Departure to Bali

- Wat Chalong — the most important Buddhist temple in Phuket
- Evening flight Phuket → Bali via Kuala Lumpur or Singapore (book well in advance)
Days 7–11: Bali, Indonesia
Day 8: Arrival + Ubud
- Land at Ngurah Rai Airport; pay Visa on Arrival (IDR 500,000) and Tourism Levy (IDR 150,000).
- Drive to Ubud (1.5 hours from airport). Check in to rice paddy villa.
- Afternoon: Tegallalang Rice Terraces (15 min from Ubud town) — iconic UNESCO rice paddies. Sunset view point.
- Evening: Kecak Fire Dance at Uluwatu Temple at sunset (IDR 150,000 = ~₹800). One of the world's great cultural experiences — 80 men chanting "cak cak cak" around a fire while the Ramayana is performed.
Day 9: Ubud Spiritual Day
- Morning: Tirta Empul Temple — holy spring water temple; Hindu purification ceremony. Respectful participation in the cleansing ritual available.
- Sacred Monkey Forest — 700 monkeys living in a forest with 3 ancient temples.
- Ubud Art Market for handicrafts, silver jewellery, batik fabrics.
- Cooking class: Half-day Balinese cooking class (book with Payuk Bali or Milk & Honey). Visit market, cook 5–6 dishes, eat lunch.
Day 10: Mount Batur Sunrise Trek
- Leave hotel at 2 AM. Drive to Batur (1.5 hours), begin hike at 4 AM with a local guide.
- Summit at sunrise (2 hours up) — watch the sun rise over the caldera lake and surrounding volcanoes. Return by 10 AM.
- Afternoon: Rest at hotel pool.
- Evening: Transfer to Seminyak/Canggu beach area (if staying final night there).
Day 11: Bali → Singapore by flight
- Morning: Beach time at Seminyak or Canggu — famous beach clubs (Potato Head, La Plancha)

Days 11–13: Singapore
Day 12: Singapore Highlights
